All you need to know about HBC International Awards

Harvard Business Council was born as a business consultancy firm in 1999, merging business management and information technology to deliver the perfect business solution for a wide range of companies worldwide.

For years, our clients have appreciated our solid work ethic, a research-based approach that ensures we stay relevant and competitive when developing improvement strategies, and the familiar environment in which everyone feels welcomed and well taken care of.

After a long run of outstanding achievements in aiding organizations to stay relevant and competitive, transform their processes and strategies to boost their revenues, and improve product/service quality, reputation, and marketing, we realized we could do more to contribute to business excellence worldwide.

The inspiration came in 2020 when a global pandemic abruptly disrupted our lives. We wanted to give individuals and organizations a reason to keep fighting and staying competitive despite the challenges. Hence, we decided to establish the HBC International Awards. It was developed on the concept of total quality management to assist businesses in achieving organizational strategies and adopting best practices.

We could count on a highly prepared jury and assessors who ensure the applications received are valid and meet high-quality standards and motivated Award representatives who promptly and cordially assist participants in each step of their application process.

The first cycle of the HBC International Awards comprised one category only, Dealing with Covid-19. A virtual ceremony was established to formally recognize Diamond and Gold level winners and give them something to celebrate and look forward to.

Our first initiative was a success, so we decided to increase the Awards categories in 2021, including the International Businesswoman Award, the

Business Resilience Award and the Business Agility Award.

However, in 2022, we introduced most novelties, such as a fully automated assessment process, an HBC competitiveness database,

dynamic analytics dashboards, and more Awards categories: Circular Economy Award, Business Sustainability Award, Business Communication Award, Partnership Award, Business Contribution Award, Business Society Contribution Award, Application Award, Women Leaders Award, and Customer Care Award.

In only a few years, HBC International Awards has become one of the most prestigious international awards initiatives. Besides the dedication, professionalism, and expertise of the Harvard Business Council as an institution, the success of the HBC International Awards is also due to the many renowned organizations and individuals it boasts among its participants, who continuously set the excellence bar higher.
