HBC International Awards - Let's address some FAQ
Although we do our best to provide applicants with adequate knowledge of our HBC International Awards cycles, there is never enough information out there! Therefore, we decided to dedicate this new post to some frequently asked questions concerning HBC International Awards to refresh previous applicants' memories and equip new participants with all the details they need for a successful application.
1. How do I choose the best award for myself and/or my organization?
Fortunately, one of our previous blogs covered this question in depth. So take some time to read our tips to make sure you choose the best option for your case!
2. How do I apply for HBC International Awards?
There is fantastic news for you! We have just introduced an e-portal on our website that will allow you to send an application, fill in the application form, and monitor its status, alongside other useful features. All you need to do is register an account, and you are all set to go! Of course, you can still contact us at applications@harvardawards.org should you need further information or assistance with the procedure.
3. Do I need to pay for HBC International Awards?
Our Awards are among the most prestigious recognitions issued globally. Thus, we hire highly skilled experts to review your applications and redact a detailed feedback report that can assist you in individuating your strengths and areas for improvement. It sounds easy, but it requires a lot of work and effort, which is why we request our applicants to cover a professional assessment fee that varies from one award to the other (you can find them included in our criteria guidebook). However, the trophies, certificates, press releases, tailored support, preliminary assessment, and ceremony are free of charge.
4. Is there a limit on the number of awards I can apply for?
You can apply for as many awards as you like. But, of course, the professional assessment fee must be covered for each of them, so be aware of that.
5. What if I apply for an award but don't complete my application? Will I be invoiced the professional assessment fee?
You only pay for what you complete. If you apply for an award by mistake or decide not to continue with an application, you will have to leave it blank, and our jury will disregard it. Therefore, you won't receive an invoice for that submission.
6. Can I request a preliminary assessment?
Yes, you can request a preliminary assessment. One of our experts will review your application and inform you of its correctness; otherwise, you will be told what you should add to strengthen your submission and maximize your chances of being nominated.
7. How do I write a successful application?
