Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) wins Diamond level in HBC Dealing with COVID-19

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 2022 - On April 15, 2022, the winners of the first cycle of the HBC 2022 International Awards issued by Harvard Business Council (NY, USA) were announced. Sixty-three individuals and organizations were awarded during the event, which stood out among the 5,000 total applications received. Among these was Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), the flagship institution for Abu Dhabi Health Services Company governed by its commitment to practice modern medicine to the same high standards as the best medical facilities in the world, a candidate for the Executives Award on behalf of Dr. Safa Azaat Al Mustafa and Dealing with COVID-19 Award at the organizational level.


SKMC has also reached the Diamond level for the Dealing with COVID-19 Award. They have shown that they can face an imminent and devastating crisis such as the recent pandemic, activating well-studied strategies in advance, and showing outstanding professionalism and preparation. Their priorities immediately shifted to the ongoing health emergency, focusing on the well-being of patients and staff.



Harvard Business Council has recognized in SKMC the characteristics of excellence, readiness, and expertness that every organization should have, even more so when operating in such a delicate sector as that of healthcare. The results achieved by Sheikh Khalifa Medical City have been awarded the highest honors to set an example to other organizations, regardless of their operating sector.
