2021 Innovation Award winner: Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA)
HBC recognized the institution's effort to ensure innovation alignment with its strategy and endeavor to attain stakeholder satisfaction, revenue increase and diversification, cost efficiency, and harmony with the environment.
DEWA’s result scores have been the highest of all other entities who entered the competition, thus becoming our number one top winner for this 2021 first & second cycles. As a globally leading organization, their leadership team orchestrates the development of the set of DEWA’s strategic directions based on several integrated best practice frameworks including the “Strategic Intelligence Framework”, “Strategy Framework”, and “Future Shaping Framework”. To ensure innovation alignment with their Strategy; DEWA has developed and implemented an Innovation Strategy in order to focus on achieving stakeholder happiness, revenue increase and diversification, cost reduction / efficiency, and harmony with the environment.
