2021 Dealing with COVID-19 Award winner: Road & Transport Authority (RTA)
RTA's endeavors were prized as they promptly understood local & federal governmental priorities in dealing with the COVID-19 crisis, and they remained up to date with the most relevant data available.
To manage the COVID-19 Pandemic Crisis RTA’s Leadership mobilized to organize a proportional response and formed the COVID-19 Crisis Team in March 2020, which comprised of senior RTA Leadership across the organization and was led by the Chief Executives Officers (CEOs) of RTA to quickly react to evolving COVID-19 related issues. The RTA Leadership developed a north star vision based on understanding the local & federal governmental priorities, benchmarking with best practices from across the globe, and remaining constantly up to date with the most relevant COVID-19 data available.
