Winners have been nominated for the HBC 2022 International Awards Second Cycle
Another cycle of HBC International Awards successfully ended on the 10th of November - an extraordinary event that gathered more than 5,000 applications, of which 531 met the necessary standards to be considered valid.
Based on the first cycle of the HBC 2022 International Awards, we anticipated receiving a high volume of applications. However, the actual number exceeded expectations. Also, HBC is immensely honored to gather many distinguished names in the same event and set the business excellence benchmark even higher.
Despite the difficulty of running the initiative in such uncertain times, HBC managed to introduce some novelties that reflect the continuous strive to provide participants with a relevant and unique experience. For instance, the application process has been fully automated, allowing applicants to upload and review their files at their convenience and download essential documents, such as the HBC criteria guidebook and certificates. In addition, new categories have been introduced, namely the Circular Economy Award, Business Sustainability Award, Business Communication Award, Partnership Award, Business Contribution Award, Business Society Contribution Award, Smart Application Award, Women Leaders Award, and Customer Care Award. Finally, new HBC representatives were recruited to offer tailored and prompt support to each applicant.
HBC Assessors worked tirelessly to review all the numerous submissions received and finally nominated 60 winners for each of the 23 individual and organizational HBC Awards categories available, who were formally recognized during the HBC 2022 International Awards virtual ceremony. A special mention goes to the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, our most prolific nominee for this cycle.
